The Location: The hotel was situated right in the heart of the city, which made it easy to explore all the Christmas festivities. Everything was within walking distance, including the main street where all the shops and restaurants were located.

Lack of Christmas Spirit: Unfortunately, the hotel lacked any festive decorations or atmosphere during the Christmas season. It would have been nice to see some holiday cheer throughout the hotel, such as decorations or even Christmas music playing in the common areas.

We had perfectly pleasant holiday. Really enjoyed having hypoallergenic pillows, no need to ask for them beforehand. Included a hair dryer, a bidet, and bath sheets, all very handy. Its location was great, just a short stroll away from a central plaza. Also, it was next to the airport and bus station, also a taxi rank, Via Etnea, the Main Street and the restaurant Trattoria Da Nuccio on the Via Penninello street.

My stay at Katana Suites was fantastic. The location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the city with all the main attractions within walking distance. The apartment itself was stylish and had some unique touches that added a local character. The host was incredibly helpful and always available if I needed anything. Despite a few minor issues like noisy doors and difficult windows, I would highly recommend this place for a memorable stay in Catania. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a great spot to start our mornings with a cup of coffee. The flat-screen TV in the unit kept us entertained during our downtime. The air conditioning kept the apartment cool and comfortable throughout our stay.

Personally, I found the private entrance of the apartment a bit inconvenient as it required extra effort to open and close. However, others might appreciate the added privacy it offers.

It was very light and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfy. the owner was understanding when our flight was delayed and provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants and bars. I also appreciated the small balcony and the convenience of being close to sights, as well as bars and restaurants. I highly recommend Katana Suites!

And the host, Federico, is jaw-droppingly fantastic! Always available, helpful, and even extended our stay. The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and perfect Wi-Fi were just icing on the cake. Super easy, pleasant stay in the heart of the city.
